An interesting conversation about the potential for middle-skill jobs

An interesting conversation about the potential for middle-skill jobs

Dear Colleagues,

The discussion about the importance of educational credentials and the labor market is much in the news today.  I invite you to listen to two scholars in the field discuss this important topic -- Anthony Carnevale from Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce and Jared Bernstein of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. I found the brief discussion of Algebra II and focus on abstract academics around the 29 minute mark quite interesting.

As always, I appreciate hearing your thoughts - email me at nrccte@nrccte.org.

Happy listening,
