About the University of Louisville
The National Research Center for Career and Technical Education has resided in the College of Education and Human Development on the Belknap Campus at the University of Louisville since 2007.
Founded in 1968, the College of Education and Human Development serves to prepare students for leadership in a variety of educational settings. Its students fill classrooms, school counselors offices, and educational administrative offices. Those who graduate impact businesses and social service agencies, as well as private practitioners.
The University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky’s largest metropolitan area. It was a municipally supported public institution for many decades prior to joining the university system in 1970. The University has three campuses, including the 287-acre Belknap Campus, which is three miles from downtown Louisville and houses seven of the university’s 11 colleges and schools.
