Cass Dykeman, Oregon State University

The NRCCTE's career guidance research team, centered out of Oregon State University, and consisting of researchers at Oregon State and at Penn State University, has been involved in a two-year research project dedicated to the issue of career guidance and development. Dr. Dykeman reports on the results of that research, focusing on the question of whether there is a relationship between career development interventions and academic achievement. In other words, does participating in and leading and engaging in career development activities leverage academic achievement. Practical applications of this research are presented.
