Assessing The Progress and Future Planning Of CTE: A Self-Assessment Tool For State Agencies  

The topic of this video is the State Career and Technical Education Self-Assessment. This is an instrument that was designed to help guide states' program improvement efforts in the area of career and technical education [CTE]. It was developed under a grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Vocational and Adult Education [OVAE]. The goal of the State Career and Technical Education Self-Assessment is to go beyond the letter of the law, to move toward quality, a spirit of quality, in which one gets at high levels of implementation, quality focus, quality implementation of career education - career and technology education programs and services.
